Irish vs michigan game thread ...

Gillman pride Elliott mta book finke white should all be put on watch and start sharing time with more talented back ups moving forward .... they have played awful multiple games in a row

Hats off to Michigan and Harbaugh, they played well.

This was not a casual rain storm, it was torrential. how can you not adjust your game plan to account for that ?
Sadly they actually didn’t play very well in some respects ... and yet we were epically bad

somewhere bryan driskell is in the fetal position sucking on his finger.

all off-season/season that guy was maniacal about convincing anybody who would listen how bad/average michigan was and how ND were going to steamroll them.

Rather than waste our breath pointing fingers, let's just call it what it was....A complete shits show where a bunch of candyass pussies got embarrassed by a team that came to play.

There was not one person that truly showed up tonight!

Be prepared for the ND media/ND insiders to lambaste ian book and somehow excuse brian kelly of this shit show while ND is headed fast to another 8-4 season.

the ND establishment won't criticize brian kelly until he's gone .. and then they'll go overboard with it.

Who would those more talented back-ups be? If they have more talent than the current starters, they should be on the field. Those guys are the best ND has at those positions.

do you at least blame both yourself?

There must be massive changes because the team quit

one thing to be beat bad another to quit

LOL@ ND putting starters back in because they are mad that Michigan scored with their back ups.

I want to hear one of you actually say, Book sucked today.

I don’t think you can
Read earlier pages in the thread .. i'm on record saying that book was terrible. But so was the other 21 positions on the field.

lol at you not recognizing Mich wasn’t taking out their starters like ND did. Oh, they were still throwing the ball downfield too

but it would be laughable for the media to write stories about how bad he was? Weird.

Instead of the story being on where ND is as a program (which falls on the leadership of the program), the story will be all about Ian Book's play at the exclusion of all else.

Everything is ALWAYS fine at ND.
The talent is fine
The recruiting is fine
The offense is fine
The program is fine
the leadership is fine
ND is a top 10 program playing for championships

Ian Book will be the scapegoat.

talent va ready to play are not the same... nd has upper class men that know game plan well but are playing really bad ... players that need more PT

Phil, Lenzy, keys, ademilola, franklin, Bauer, Simon, Wallace , hart, Hamilton, brown

Another dummy. Michigan fought mother nature as well. Just another poor Brian Kelly game plan. To lose is one thing. To get blown out by lesser teams is unacceptable.

Michigan and ND were very similarly rated teams coming into this game. ND had a bad game, but Michigan ranked down somewhere in the teens was the equivalent to Notre Dame.

32% completion percentage while missing multiple reads will do that to a QB at a prolific school.

I mean Jurkovic completed 3 of 4 passes and had almost as many passing yards/TDs. He also may be the only D1 QB that can’t throw a spiral.

Think about it

The LB’s we where worried about where exposed. The lack of RB we knew about was exposed. The lack of a QB was exposed.

ND has its run every 3 years. 2012, 2014, 2018. Gonna be 2021 for us.

No one will say that.... book will just be one of the few obvious reasons ND is struggling .... Tram quit so that starts with Kelly then go to offensive and defensive game plans being horrendous for rain then you go to book, then you go To safeties and white and oline run game plan

Yes because your 2-3 hours of watching ND over the course of 2-3 months in the fall/winter is the equivalent to the access the coaching staff has who sees hundreds of reps every week nearly all year long.
