Duke lost 34-20 to Virginia. Let that sink in for a minute. Texas got beat up by Oklahoma State today. The mighty Michigan State got blown the **** out last week by Wisconsin.

This Cuse team were beaten by USF by 25. The job done by this staff is historically bad and that says a lot with our history since Holtz. Cut the damn cord already and promote Sanford. Send a message saying we don't allow our students to cruise along with failing grades, why would we allow a millionaire coach to do so.

Promote Sanford, someone with no head coaching experience? Yeah, that strategy has worked out so well for us in the past (e.g. Davie and Weis). Another ignorant post.

How far has hiring an experienced coach like BK gotten ND? 0 fer his ND career!

Success? then what is all the talk on the board about getting rid of him?
 
And Iowa is a game that everyone has circled? And Northwestern beating ND a couple of years ago has what to do with the 2016 Irish team? Why again do you want Helton fired?

It just proves how far Kelly has taken ND in to the toilet. Helton being fired is inevidible. I want to see how serious ND will get about football. I'm tired of wasting my money on $warbrick's bottomline. If LSU and USC go out and get great coaches and ND stands pat with the most average coach in the business, I at least get my answer to how serious ND is about winning big again.
 
Name a coach that ND can get that would for sure be better than Kelly

They can't. Nobody can. Some just want BK fired. Some wanted BVG fired but that wasn't good enough. And now, there has been a call for Helton to be fired. Not sure why and I'm not getting any kind of answer. They just want people fired.
 
The OP is just upset that ND won. He announced on this board that he was rooting against ND. Just sour grapes on his part.
 
I would hire the North Dakota state HC. Why not ? The guy can coach .

Don't have a different opinion that NDSMC! My point was the best way to get rid of Kelly was a loss to Syracuse. Maybe that's a pipe dream cause it seems the ND administration and many fans really don't care about winning football games. Enjoy your purple faced fraud and his 8 wins. I'll continue to call for his firing and hope that people finally start to get on board.

To be honest, I did root for the players this week. I was pleased that the guys got a win, despite coaching getting in their way.

And holy shit...Indiana beat Michigan State yesterday. Only gave up 21 points with overtime.

Thank god this team isn't a playoff threat cause ND's SOS is going to end up terrible.

My opinion is this---Notre Dame fans don't root for Notre Dame to lose. The fraud is you, Syracuse fan.

Which I didn't. Enjoy another 500 season while defending this guy making multi millions for piss poor performance. I don't root against the players, just overpaid coaches that vastly under perform.

The promotion of a coach with no head coaching experience is working out ok for Stanford.

Are we picking dream candidates or reality? My reality is BK with an elite college DC with a proven track record. I don't have a dream candidate because in live in Realville.
 
If Kelly had a top DC and let the OC, OC then did the CEO thing he seems to have skills for, AND took a course in anger management, and put Dr. Phil on his personal advisory staff: he could make it to the end of his contract. But, surely his ego will get in the way.

Management is getting things done through others; Kelly's attitude seems to be that others are keeping him from getting things done. His cunundrum.
 
Why is BKs anger issues an issue with some? Don't buy into what the media has to say. Did you see Saban yesterday, the week before, and nearly every week? Did you see Petrino? How about Dabo? BKs temperament is only an issue if you are looking to build a case , nitpick by nitpick, against him. BK went after an assistant last season and Saban went after his OC a few weeks ago. Difference is the way the media handles it because Saban is winning titles and BK is not. I'm more concerned, as a fan, about missed tackles than BK having a temper fit. Truth be told, watching all those bad attempts at tackling wouldn't bring out the best in me either.
