The NCAA announced Monday the NCAA Tournament field for the 2023 Women's College Cup.
Notre Dame (11-3-4) was given a No. 3 seed in one of the four 16-team brackets. The Irish will play against nearby Valparaiso (11-5-6). The date/time has not yet been announced, but it will be played either Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Notre Dame defeated Valpo, 5-0, in a home exhibition in August.
The winner will play against the victor of an No. 6 Memphis (18-1) and LSU (8-7-4) matchup.
The top two seeds in Notre Dame's bracket are No. 2 Arkansas (14-4-2) and No. 1 Florida State (16-0-1). The Irish lost at Florida State by a 4-1 margin on Oct. 12.
