Golden was NOT a roll of the dice. He coached linebackers in the Super Bowl the prior year. He also had head coaching experience.3 NFL draft picks at Cincinnati
Golden, Rudolph, Mickens and Deland were proven coaches who decided to "roll the dice"
He hasn't called defensive plays in years... It was a roll of the dice, maybe not as much of a risk...but definitely a riskGolden was NOT a roll of the dice. He coached linebackers in the Super Bowl the prior year. He also had head coaching experience.
To be fair... it is his first year at UW, as is Bucky HC Fickell, who he followed from Cincy. Cincy has put 4 WRs in the NFL the last two years, including Pierce who was a 2nd Rd pick of the Colts.Yeah Wisconsin is well known for their wide open passing game 😜🥱
No shit... you didn't get the sarcasm. Either were the other coaches I mentionedGolden was NOT a roll of the dice. He coached linebackers in the Super Bowl the prior year. He also had head coaching experience.
The head coach picks the staff. He might take input from coordinators but he makes the call.Freeman needs to succeed or go down with HIS GUYS. Notre Dame tried to administratively support him by keeping Rees, heistand.. and then freeman let Rees make the call on stuckey. All well intentioned and all negatively impacting Freeman's tenure. He needs to get HIS COACHES IN and succeed or failed with them
Not when he got fired. Rees was hired before him and Rees pushed for StuckeyThe head coach picks the staff. He might take input from coordinators but he makes the call.
Exactly. Only coach we have who shavesGolden was NOT a roll of the dice. He coached linebackers in the Super Bowl the prior year. He also had head coaching experience.
