Would Women laught at me if I tried to explain childbirth to them or critique how women do it?

Aren't there tons of hacks that never played the game asking questions and critiquing players all the time?
Yea, they're laughable too. I put the woman asking Cam a technical question in the same boat as an unathletic, fat guy with a mic.

I think he was like "cool, a chick that knows sports". Not sure. Not a fan. Not a hater. Just think he was shocked. Men grow up with it, play it. It would be like some man asking a women about putting make up on. Not something most of us do. Maybe he was being an ass but to me felt like "cool"

I kinda got the same vibe, that being said in our era of hyper sensativity and someone feelings always being hurt he has to be more self aware especially when he has the platform that he does.

typical media overkill. my nieces husband played 8 years in the NFL. said dealing with the media was by by far the worst part of it.

I guess some people dug up some previous tweets that this woman reporter had put out there awhile back. There were racist overtones.

Things really get blown out of proportion nowadays.

I have no sympathy for Newton or the woman reporter. Newton gave the black fist salute in support of Kapernick, the same Kapernick who drew cops as pigs on his socks, and Newt was praised by the sports media. He has some fun about a lady reporter and suddenly he's the scourge of NFL football. I love when these people eat their own. They all deserve each other.

There are coaches who never played the game too. Gender does not limit understanding a topic.

It probably does sound funny for that question to come from a petite female reporter, but nevertheless, it's her job. So Newton has to know better, especially in front of all those cameras.
