With NIL gone wild

and all the bags of money being doled out under the guise of NIL is anyone surprised this is even a thing.
NIL is not supposed to be up front cash that is used as an inducement to lure kids to a certain university to play football.

As it has been for decades, some schools in CFB follow the rules, many do not.

The SEC and many others cheat their collective asses off, and have for decades.

What is it supposed to be? I thought NCAA NIL rules can’t override state/university/ conference rules.

True, but the NCAA is turning a blind eye to all of it. What's the point of having rules if no one is there to enforce them.

I hear you but it seems like ncaa rules are meaningless because they can’t override state/ school/ conference rules. It’s completely idiotic but it seems like there are no universal rules that apply to every school

It's not the NCAA's job to enforce rules. It's the university's responsibility.

And that's the problem.

Many schools do not follow rules.

I know one university that I root for who does.

Yes it is the ncaas job to enforce the rules.

Problem is they don't do it nor do they care

Who’s that, Army, Navy or Stanford?

I’d love to know why the NCAA is targeting a university about female basketball players over NIL rules considering the mega shady shit that goes on in college football. Reading the article about the Cavinder twins, I don’t see a violation that isn’t likely par for the course at places like TAMU, Tennessee, etc.
