Will Everett Golson ever play CFB again?

I think not. He led the criminoles to a 6-1 record with one int. which should have been a TD, but got benched for his outstanding effort. Clearly he is a better QB than Maguire, but Jumbo doesn't apparently like him. I doubt it is because he is black, but likely that he will always be a Domer first and Jumbo realizes EG is smarter than him.

He wasn't even involved on the sideline so my guess is he never plays again. Too bad he ever trusted FSU!

contrary to popular opinion on Maguire being a better choice against Clemson, I think Golson should have played even if he did not start. He had one int this year that was not even on him and earned the start.

That said, he still has major weaknesses in leadership and progression reads. I do not see him over coming these at the college or pro level -- so put a fork in him, he is done and will be playing piano at Hilton lounges in the near future Very nice guy

How will Golson be remembered at ND? I think fondly. He took us to a NC game There is more good about his time at ND then bad, - the bad being 22 turnovers in 2014 and leaving rather than competing

Golson should be fondly remembered at Notre Dame for all the right reasons.

BTW, I fully believe that Kelly was in on EG's decision on leaving ND. The writing was on the wall and MZ was going to be the starter so EG needed someplace to play. Now, EG is kicking himself in the ass because he could be leading ND to a national championship, but he went to FSU, was lied to, and now he sits pissed he is not at ND.

Kelly tried to do right by EG, it's just tough to predict the future .

One thing you can be sure of, add EG to the growing list who think Jumbo is a fraud and liar!

EG, did what he "thought" he had to do. And that was leave instead of staying w/ his ND brothers and competing. The grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence. He obviously did ND a huge, huge favor and allowed us to see how good DK really is. DK is better than EG and it is not that close. I know DK can and will probably still make some rookie mistakes, but every game he plays - he seems to keep getting better and better.
DK would probably still be on the bench right now w/ EG managing wins for ND - but, we very well may not be 8 - 1 w/ EG at the helm - we will never know. Thank goodness he left. Right now we have 2 very capable QB's in MZ and DK. And MZ still needs a lot more experience. But, he has shown he is pretty good as a QB w/ the limited experience he has. As for BW - he was very careless w./ the ball in his limited time on Sat. The time he ran for about a 12 yard gain along the sidelines - he had that ball out away from his body as he ran - looked like I was seeing EG out there moving around and looking to run. Then 2 or 3 plays later he looses the ball on a sack - it looked like he was putting the ball away - right before he got hit, but he obviously did not secure it good enough. IMO - hopefully that was a good learning experience for BW on "what not to do"

Enjoy the FSU losses all you like ... but bashing Jimbo for benching Everett Golson seems a stretch when ND itself benched Everett Golson.

No1e said he was "not privy to" (exact words) information that Bobo had been arrested and demanded that you produce evidence for your claim. Saying that you're unaware of something doesn't mean you are lying.

He said Winston was a great ambassador for FSU because of the way he handled the increased scrutiny he didn't say that about any of the others.
