yes, overall they have the better players, but the best players don't always win. It's all about the defense, they play tenacious, lockdown defense. If you watch ND games during the season you will hear announcers laud how proficient they are on offense. "they're offense is a thing of beauty, they can beat you at five different positions" and many times this year ND had five players put up double figures in games. That doesn't happen when they play Uconn. They will lockdown, and that's why you see someone like Jewel Loyd feel like she needs to put the whole team on her shoulders and shes starts rushing things and implodes. I don't know if Muffet has ever attended one of his coaching clinics but if she hasn't, might not be a bad idea.
