Why are so many non-ND attendees/graduates

They want ND to be like every other school. It irks them that ND has special arrangements for the CFP, its own media deal.
A friend of mine who is a Rutgers graduate hated the fact that ND would not play Rutgers at Rutgers home field, but instead at a neutral field typically at the meadowlands. Years ago he was happy when Rutgers refused to play ND at metlife. ND instead went on to schedule Syracuse at Metlife. 😂
