Who will be the ND captains?

Tranquil is a really good pick too. I think Onwualu is a bigger leader on this team than outsiders may think, however. I think he's highly respected and is going to have a big senior year.
Overall, I'm not as terrified as some about our first unit at linebacker. I think Morgan is an upgrade on Schmidt and Onwualu will play at a higher level than he did last year... Neither Coney or Martini are adequately replacing Jaylon, but improving at 2 of the 3 spots is a net win for me, especially when you consider how often ND was forced to stay in its base last year because of injuries, and how often there would have only been 2 linebackers on the field anyways.

I actually have no problem with neither quarterback being named a Captain. In my experience, quarterbacks tend to lead intrinsically because of the nature of the position. The team often recognizes your quarterbacks (not just the starter) as leaders, with or without the title.
