Is it freeman? Freeman came into a situation much like Kirby at Georgia. Good talent, but needing a bit more and a bit better coaching staff. Kirby’s first year has some bumps, but then he took off with recruiting and solid coaching. Almost every year his teams have gotten slightly better, with this years team possibly being the best.
I don’t think freeman is a good enough coach nor did he higher good enough coaches. A lot of us knew Rees and Washington are not good coaches.
We will know if ND this year improves significantly and starts to take off next year or if we need to clean house after the year.
