Lets face it, the student body would never be classified as "hip" or "athletic". So I find it humorous that many posters here claim to be ND alumni and know a lot about football or are football coaches. This does not make any sense. Most likely not gym teachers, since ND has no PE department. But coaches are another matter. Former athletes who don't go pro could and do become involved with coaching. I can remember back when my daughter was in high school, one of the teams her school played football against had Steve Orsini (former ND running back) as head coach.
