There are so many positives about Kelly. His eye for talent, his development of that talent. Game plans and in game adjustments I think he does it at an elite level. Having said that the hallmark of well coached teams are they don't turn the ball over, don't commit stupid penalties, they come out ready to play, they make the routine plays and they dont beat themselves. In year 5 and 6 of Kelly's tenure we can point to NW, Lville, ASU, USC and Clemson where ND beat themselves or in the case of USC didnt bother to show up. Bad games happen to everybody but when 5 out of your last 11 games you can say we didnt play like a well coached team there is a problem. I'm honestly torn on Kelly there are a lot of positives but there some really glaring flaws that are festering in the program.
