It's the end of the first quarter...ND 19 TCU 20. Go Irish!
I don’t know how the official missed the TCU player elbowing the ND player in the chest and then calling the foul on the ND player
3 of 16 from 3 is killing them…..
Can’t make a layup going left either!
They need to start going full court press and get scores in transition. need some turnovers otherwise they will lose.
They can’t make layups, can’t shoot 3’s, can’t make wide open short shots in the paint.
Ended up being a really disappointing season for WBB.
Poor coaching….looks like a deer in the headlights on the sideline.
Where do we need to improve? Coaching, head or assistants? That’s a common criticism. Better players, recruiting/portal? NIL?
For 3/4 the season, they were on fire and fun to watch. Not the ending anyone wanted to see, but not surprising given the poor play going into the ACC tourney.
Ahhh, Miss Transfer Portal, had an immediate dislike of her when she was a Cardinal. Hopefully her eligibility is up?
One other thing. Not counting the ND Guards ,Miles and Hidalgo, this team looks slow. TCU felt like they were a step or two quicker. I am not sure what the outlook is for next year. But unless they have better players on the bench , it might be a long season.
When your big 3 shoot 10-44 you'd be lucky to beat anyone let alone win a sweet 16 game. Real stinker.
If the Ukrainian girl was any slower she would be going backwards!

This team should have at least made it to the regional finals.
TCU is a good team but the Irish beat a number of teams better than them this season.

More constant shooting. And a dominant big girl.
While true it's not like there is an abundance of talented post players to pick from. Hard to find.
Well, we talked about the fact this team thrives in transition, and struggles in the half court. From midway third qtr on, we couldn’t get stops; and when we did get into transition, they either blocked our shots or we simply blew some layups. And playoff basketball requires your best player to assert themselves and come up big. Ours didn’t and theirs did.
Absolutely correct. They get so stagnant in the half court and it cost them dearly.
I guess Ivey still has some things to learn.

Ivey is the coach and deserves some blame but when you miss so many wide open shots and layups the players have to own most of it. It was dissapointing that no one from the big 3 stepped up this game and to be honest there were portions of the game when Cintron, Miles and Hannah were doing more harm than good especially in 2nd half. Next year will be a rebuilding and Ivey needs to bring some shooting.
