Basketball WBB: Notre Dame signees Hidalgo, Risch named McDonald's All-Americans

Notre Dame signees Hannah Hidalgo and Emma Risch were named Tuesday as McDonald's All-Americans to play in the annual all-star game on March 28 in Houston.

The two guards make up two-thirds of Notre Dame's 2023 class. Fellow signee Cassandre Prosper already joined the Irish as an early enrollee last month.

Notre Dame's current roster includes five former McDonald's All-Americans: Jenna Brown in 2018, Maddy Westbeld and Kylee Watson in 2020, Sonia Citron in 2021 and KK Bransford in 2022.
