Yeah his secondary coverage schemes are outrageously soft.Classic Freeman meltdown to end the half
You really don’t have a clue what you are talking about. Either QB is light years ahead of Coan with this oline.Doesn't matter who the QB is, the Oline is the worst I've seen at ND. Flat under coached, and over matched. And without any running game, the QB is irrelevant
That and it gets compounded by bad corner play outside of hart.Lousy prevent D at the end of the half.
Wrong again. It’s got very little to do with Coan and everything to do with the OLINE !
This is the most obvious thing ever. Can’t believe a couple folks in here can’t see it.I know the OL is bad. But Coan adds to the problem as he has no pocket awareness.
I'd say Hasselback in particular has had a lot of good points. Sounds kind of like a hayseed, but generally he has offered good analysis and doesn't yell. This
Unfortunately our only option appears to be to recruit our way out of the cb issues ...Classic Freeman meltdown to end the half
What part of CA you in? I'm in the OC or should I say USC county. You’ll hear me scream from California if that happens.
Most of Buchner a plays are rpos where the oline is just going hat on hat and forward. The threat of Buchner running helps the Oline a ton. Defenses have no fear of Coan running so it makes the D line have to be thoughtful running up field.
Is Lenzy even playing? Did I miss something? It will be interesting if they use a spy in the second half to combat Buchner... If they do we have to make them pay with play action... Let's see if lenzy and Austin can beat press coverage
North San Fernando Valley. Granada Hills. What part of CA you in? I'm in the OC or should I say USC county.
And this DC is automatically the next head coach hahaGood defenses don't give up scores at the end of the half!!!! Every freaking game!!
I tend to agree with you. I love Jack Coan, but he's not gotting it done, and he's gotta sit. If they want to roll with Buchner, just win baby......With an injured and developing OLine it only makes sense to continue with TB. Particularly considering his performance in the first half tonight out of the bullpen. He’ll make mistakes this year, but that’s to be expected with a Frosh. I am looking forward to watching him play/develop.
Tackling was one of our strengths last year in my opinionNotre Dame's tackling has really been bad this year. Two or three times on this drive, they have failed to bring the runner down on first contact for big gains.
