ND will play in South LA in two weeks in their bowl game USC looks to be a near top ten team Thanksgiving weekend.
You are right and the final score will be similar to bowl games with Bama and Ohst. 4-8 football teams shouldnt talk about bowls they should talk about new head coaches.ND will play in South LA in two weeks in their bowl game USC looks to be a near top ten team Thanksgiving weekend.
A sure sign of what a disaster a season is for a team is when this becomes a realistic and operative phrase. More often than not, the minute the kickoff whistle blows the team echoeing it plays exactly the way that got them in such a mess. It's the bottom of the barrel and just below "the (Mickey Mouse) bowl game appearance gets us 15 more practices" - not to mention the high liability of being embarrassed by another weak opponent.ND will play in South LA in two weeks in their bowl game USC looks to be a near top ten team Thanksgiving weekend.
You can count the blowouts on one hand in the Kelly era. Losing has been an issue, getting blown out has not been. Willingham and Weis had that issue.I hope this be the last game/blow out I see Coach Kelly on the ND sidelines.

And that would be one of the five fingers.Pretty much true, although we lost the 2014 game to this team 49-14.
I have stopped following recruiting since the MSU loss . I figure there is no good news on that front.we always start every game with hopes of a grand victory! sure it used to be almost an 'entitlement', and now it has become best described as a 'relief'.
As I keep watch on recruiting news, and the way top recruits have shunned ND as Feb '17 approaches, what keeps ringing in my ears are the words of BK: 'get used to it'. He is teaching us to 'lose'.
I would want ND to go to a bowl game regardless of record. They need the extra practice. Always thought it unfair that non bowl teams don't get those extra practices. They need them the most.Your record is what you are. Understood. But, consider how close every loss has been. No blow outs. Down to the wire. Every game. IF...IF....IF...the Irish can beat VT and play USC close (down to the wire), would that be an argument for a 5-7 Irish to go bowling, even in some podunk bowl game? Don't consider it a reward, but rather needed actual game experience for our young players and potential starters for 2017. The big picture is 2017. Not the rewards of the bowl game itself. Who the hell cares what ESPN has to say about it. Tell me where this thinking is wrong. First things first though. Beat VT and give surging USC a game.
When you are playing as many young kids as we are right now, you take the extra practices and extra game.I would want ND to go to a bowl game regardless of record. They need the extra practice. Always thought it unfair that non bowl teams don't get those extra practices. They need them the most.
