USC Final record

So that’s the ONLY reason that every one of those coaches and players compete every week ?

Playoffs or bust !

There are bowl games that involve other than the final four teams

You probably never competed at a high level

Competing is in every one of those coaches and players DNA and they want to play against the best teams possible.

Having a high SOS will help accomplish that goal, but you wouldn’t know that.
I have no idea why a lot of these kids compete anymore! It used to be for the love of the sport, competing….
A huge % of the kids still fit that category, having no national hopes team wise nor individually
The others, it is all about the $ and fame. Tough to be a fan these days.

I think those kids just love the game and they love playing the game, from the time they’re in grammar school, through high school and college.

I‘m not as cynical as you and I remain an ardent fan even though I don’t like the trajectory of the NCAA game

Yep, I may be growing cynical towards those at the top of the pyramid- thanks for pointing it out! 😏

Thank God we don't have Lincoln Riley as our coach. His got a team full of talented transfers and they still stink, defense is a bad word at USC. Typical Lincoln Riley; and Caleb Williams demonstrated what a POS he really is after the game.
What did Williams do after the game?
