Yeah, just wear the totally normal uniforms. Especially for your big home playoff debut. All these novelty uniforms really do is bastardize the sport IMO, and this not a good thing. This is not a fashion show. It's completely unnecessary, and vaguely effeminate and vain and just plain unmanly to be wearing all these different uniforms, all these different gaudy outfits, it's foppish and effete. Especially the ones UA makes, which are campy, and frequently ugly.
I don't mind doing something special, but I prefer it when they use the actual school colors.
The below uniforms are the only alternate uniforms we should wear in my opinion.
LOL. I'm a real nitpicker. I like that shade of green jersey, but I prefer white numerals, like during the Leahy days. And I prefer the more yellow gold pants the team traditionally wore through the Devine years. Finally, I'm a black shoes guy. White shoes look terrible with our colors.

The gold numbers on the Army uniforms were difficult to read. A few years ago, we wore green with navy numbers against FSU, which were also hard to read.
Exactly, that's what it's about. This whole thing with all these frilly novelty uniforms, and they are frilly. It's merely to juice sales of more gear.
You're right, that could be an additional element. And maybe one of the worst aspects of it. That spoiled HS football stars 'like' frilly novelty uniforms, because it helps engorge their fragile young egos to be fawned over almost like royalty, and fitted out with fancy clothes. And if they didn't naturally give a shit about uniforms like some vain fop, like a popinjay, when they see everyone else caring about them, their peers, then they have to care about them too. One of the great things about revenue sharing, and full professionalization, is hopefully things like that will be at least deemphasized, and the bottom line will be the name of the game. And what amount to recruiting inducements, in lieu of cold hard cash, will fade.

Funny. They’re pretty much the same with a couple decals and gold name plates. No complaints from me.
