Top 25 B.S. for future opponent Temple

Pisses me off. They have kicked ass and are undefeated. They punched Penn State in the mouth early. Vegas is making points spreads like they are a top 25 team. (they are -21.5 this week).

Why am I talking about it? Because a win over this Temple team is QUALITY WIN, but the pollster bias will keep everyone from seeing it that way. Notre Dame is in the shitty position of having to blow them out for it not to be a negative perception: that is so far from the reality of the situation.

I assume the committee will look at numbers more than program histories. If the Owls are still highly regarded at the end of the year, you will get credit for beating a highly regarded team. If they end up .500, you will get credit for beating a .500 G5 team.

I am actually going to the Temple / ND game. No question Temple is playing well. I've seen them and they have a few playmakers on offense and their defense is very good. They are attacking and like to blitz and disrupt the offense. Temple will be highly motivated and ready to play. Notre Dame has to play at a very high level. This game will not be easy. Temple can beat ND. I've seen them. They may not be Bama, SC or Michigan but they are more than capable of winning if the Irish just show up. A side note, Will a Fuller is from Philly and I'm sure he will want to have a good game. Anyway first things first and that is the game against Southern Cal.

I watched them play one game, and in that game they looked waaay better than Penn State. Penn State may not be great, but they have legit D1 players all over the field. Temple is good.

I'm hoping it's a day game no later than 3:30. I'm pretty excited. Last time the Irish were here was 1993 at the Vet against Navy. That game was in November in a windy driving rain. Ugh!! I'm hoping for dry weather this time. I really feel if they beat Southern Cal, they will have a lot to play for. This weeks game is the key to the rest of the season.

settle down, they beat UMass by 2, and got lucky for that. Their last 2 wins were against Charlotte and Tulane. This is why they arent ranked.
