ND is #16. UM is #29. Both good schools, but ND is and always will be more elite. Get over it!

ND has been floating between #16 and #20 for 40+ years in the USNWR. Nothing has changed here. These are two different views based on two on different metrics. So the difference. ND has two hurdles to over come to move it higher; 1) It's Catholic, and in academia that means close mindedness (not my view their's), 2) It does not have a Hospital associated with it. (Someone please buy St. Joseph's and start the ND Medical complex)
