Way too many recruits at this game. Only will work out for a small percentage of them.
Okay. Let me know when it's a good thing.Yes, having a bunch of recruits visiting Notre Dame is obviously a bad thing.
Okay. Let me know when it's a good thing.
Exactly.
And several of them will be swayed to sign with the Irish.Exactly.
That's your thinking.Do the free 30 day trial & read the recruiting section...you couldn’t be more wrong....
How many is several? And several of them will be swayed to sign with the Irish.
ND has an outstanding success rate of getting a player to sign after he's visited the campus. Back in 2009, TJ Jones was a lock to go to Stanford. He visited for the USC game that year and the rest is history.
That's your thinking.
Facts do not matter when football is one big setup anyway. College and NFL.No.
It’s sctually the quotes from the Rivals National recruiting insiders, the California, Midwest, Southeast... recruiting insiders.
See, they post on here what they are hearing. Our guys (BGI) then follow up & write about it.
For example, Jack Lamb. A California insider contacted our BGI recruiting guys & told them they needed to contact people immediately because something was going down. Everybody believed he was a UCLA lock & it was the day before he was announcing & all of a sudden an insider finds out he is actually choosing ND. Less than 24 hours before his announcement we find out we are getting a top 10 LB. The BGI staff was so confident in the source they wrote the commitment story, interviews, etc & had them ready the minute he announced.
This happens quite a bit. And there are players who are expected to commit tomorrow if all goes well.
But this is a situation where you don’t care about facts, you just can’t admit you have no idea. Because you really have none looking at your posts on the matter.
So carry on.
Kook.Facts do not matter when football is one big setup anyway. College and NFL.
So, in your opinion, exactly what should that number be and please explain why.Way too many recruits at this game. Only will work out for a small percentage of them.
So why are you so stressed about it that you get on here and post this drivel? Since you believe facts don’t matter, you stupidly just isolated every thought you have about college and NFL as being nothing but opinion with no support except how you perceive it. And you want to tell other people how to think? Child please. Get that weak **** off this board.Facts do not matter when football is one big setup anyway. College and NFL.

NDAFarly...you’re a better man than me. I toyed with the idea of providing a serious response along the lines that you did here, but couldn’t bring myself to believe the OP warranted a response. Your dead on with your comments, but then the OP’s responses to same are just simply dead. It’s a great thing tomorrow.
Night game, 98% ND fans (USC doesn’t travel), rivalry, ‘77 National Title team honored, so a bunch of great alums recruiting for ND, along with current commits recruiting.
You realize the unofficials don’t get the time with coaches or players like the OVs do?
They pay their own way & basically every time they come to ND on an Unofficial it’s a great thing.
I know you don’t see the content on here, but every recruit coming gets interviewed by the BGI staff & there is HUGE buzz this weekend. A LOT players are flying across the country on their own dime to be here. That’s huge for ND.
Also, the 5-7 big time recruits on OVs will surrounded by pro-ND guys everywhere they turn.
All the guys on Unofficials will have their day in the sun down the road on their OVs.
What is wrong with them paying to hang out with ND guys at a ND game now? Would you rather they be at a Michigan or OSU game tomorrow?
The insiders who talk to all the other insiders, share interview notes, conversations, etc... all agree that if ND impressed tomorrow there could be some major movements in recruiting.
Side note: There are also MULTIPLE guys who are commits elsewhere who are coming tomorrow after re-opening there recruiting process. Some good 4 Star guys. (Thanks Butch Jones & Tennessee).

Only 13 are on OV’s. They get all the attention. And some of them are already commits & are there to spend time chatting up other targets.
A lot of ‘19 & ‘20 recruits coming, so they are just basically hanging out & getting to see the atmosphere & chat with other recruits on their own time & money.
It’s actually perfect because there will be about 5-7 ‘18 guys there that ND really wants surrounded by about 20 guys they already have/will have helping recruit them.
The other 50 guys are a bonus because this visit doesn’t count, but they still could verbal or get a really strong early impression.
I tend to agree. We have too many recruits, some may feel they may get slated even though they may only be sophomores. There's only so much committed recruits and players to go around. Hopefully These young kids have their heads on straightOnly 13 are on OV’s. They get all the attention. And some of them are already commits & are there to spend time chatting up other targets.

This is a great takeWay too many recruits at this game. Only will work out for a small percentage of them.
Man this sucks, we had so many recruits at that game. I wish we would’ve done better than 49-14. Actually, I wish we would’ve only had 1-2 recruits on hand to witness it because seeing that kind of domination would not help recruiting at all. I sure hope the OP gets hired by the Notre Dame recruiting staff to organize things from here on out because clearly this weekend was a massive fail.Way too many recruits at this game. Only will work out for a small percentage of them.
