I beg to differ here...

The focus is not on needing great receiver play.

The receiver's haven't had a QB since Kizer to stretch the field thus the receiver's are in dire need of a passer to get them down field opportunities.
Dink and dunk passing with the occasional 12 yard back shoulder sideline pass in there for good measure will only net defeat and embarrassment in a major bowl/playoff game(s).
