Just finished listening to your recruiting update show. A few comments:
1.noticed how the two of you sound more relaxed together...it takes time
2. Introducing the topics as you begin the show is great way to prepare your listeners...well done!
3. The way you 'hand off' between one another is much smoother.
4. you provide a great deal of detail about the recruits that you profile, ht., wt., where ND stands, etc.
5. your presentation sounds more conversational than it did in your first few episodes.
6. informing your listeners of your future plans (the trips you're making) builds anticipation....good stuff
Some food for thought:
1. avoid using what are called filler words/phrases such as:
like, you know, ahh, um, kind of (lost count at 24), I mean.
2. slow down a bit and be sure to breath.
3. be aware of talking over one another (interrupting the other persons comment)
Suggestions:
1. if you don't already do this, listen to your program together and talk about how you can improve as a team.
2. listen to the recording individually too. note how your presentation can be better.
Well done fellas. It's been fun listening to how you have improved since the beginning of your
show. I am always much better informed about ND recruiting after listening to you.
Lastly, in the future might you include a short segment on ND hoops recruiting both men's and women's?
