Spring and Fall camps have not been a Claypool/Pride competition.
I heard this from another sourpuss Notre Dame sports writer just a few days ago. “If Pride has to go up against a receiver as good as Claypool, we will likely see him struggle.” This is BS.
These camps have been a Claypool/Book tag team operation against Pride. Fromm and Daniels are the only QBs relatively close to Book when it comes to accuracy. And when it comes to ball placement, Book separates himself further. When the season starts, the competition for Pride drops significantly. Troy Pride is the most battle tested player on this 2019 team.
Of course, second place will go to the offensive tackles.
