First I don't see a new coach next year. I think the admin will say this year was a rebuilding year and 2018 is the year things come together. However I don't trust this admin. to hire a coach. The last time ND had the right people in place to hire a coach was Fr Hesburgh and AD Krause. ND has been 0 for 4 since. Unless the admin. changes or the board gets involved ( and I have little confidence in them) things won't get better. ND is and has been a glorified NW or Vandy and I hate that.

What was last year then? I've never heard of back-to-back rebuilding years. I can't believe ND is going to tank again this year and not make a run at Chip Kelly.
Believe it. I think Swarbrick is dug in. He has the perfect excuse. A new staff needs time to get their kind of kids in place. At this point it has nothing to do with BK. It's all about the assistants getting the program in shape. I think it has more to do with the recruiting class then the team's wins and losses. I don't agree with it. But, I think that's how it is. If ND. goes less then 11-2 I'd let coach go then I'd promote with in as no coach would come in without there own staff.
Jack must not of learned his lesson from Saturday night. It'll be a Michigan home game next Sept. 1. The fans have spoken. It's time for Jack to listen. We want change or else he will continue to suffer the embarrassment he did Saturday with the sea of red.

the fact that you will never be an Alabama, Clemson,or Fla.St. In this new era of college football. be proud of the fact that you are an outstanding academic institution ,first and foremost.
