Wimbush is now one play away. I hope both guys are getting plenty of reps. ND has to truly devote itself to running the ball and probably revert back to the more bend but don't break defense of 2012. The defense had some struggles yesterday and I hope it's just an outlier that none of those heaves that Virginia's QB threw up weren't intercepted. To be fair he made some remarkable throws yesterday and looked really good at times.
GT is smoking people right now, but I don't get this boards obsession that they are ND's toughest challenge this year. The team speed on defense has improved and the front looks pretty stout. I'm more concerned about a QB that can throw darts at the still weak secondary. USC is gonna smoke ND if they don't start covering someone.
Redzone offense is still terrible. Seems to have been a struggle for Kelly since day 1.
