We're exactly one month out from June 19's Irish Invasion, and while the visitors list has looked a little bleak to date, we're hearing there's a good chance that Savannah (Ga.) Christian School five-star wideout Demetris Robertson makes it to campus for the summer event, or at least there's a plan in the works to make it happen.

According to a few different people inside Robertson's camp, the No. 1 ranked athlete in the country has genuine interest in Notre Dame following a decommitment from Alabama back in April, and he wants to see what Notre Dame is all about.

"We're going to try and make that trip and actually make the drive and see a little countryside because we want to see Notre Dame as a whole. We know what it's about, but now it's a matter of actually checking out," his older brother and guardian, Carl Robertson, said.

The Notre Dame coaching staff feels good about where they stand with Robertson right now, and are also working on locking him into an official visit this fall. The USC game on Oct. 17 was a date that we had previously been mentioned, but the trip appears to be "fluid" with the high school season and Robertson playing on Friday nights.

While appears to Notre Dame has found some traction with Robertson, he's not the only Georgia wideout that has been giving positive feedback to the staff. Warner Robins (Ga.) High four-star wide receiver Marquez Callaway continues to mention the Irish despite interest from a number of SEC schools. He hasn't said anything about the Irish Invasion, but he hasn't ruled out a visit to Notre Dame on his own dime, yet.

Fort Wayne (Ind.) Bishop Luers four-star wideout Austin Mack may have released a Top 8 on Monday, but it will be an Ohio State-Notre Dame battle moving forward.

Mack has long been considered a Buckeyes-lean, but the Irish have made up ground now that associate head coach Mike Denbrock has taken charge of the recruitment. Denbrock has been working Mack's mother, Shannon, and we're told that Mack is considering another visit to campus before his announcement on June 7. The date remains up in the air, but we're hearing it could come as early as next week.

Sticking with the trend of prospects on a timeline, Palatine (Ill.) Fremd three-star safety Kenney Lyke will announce his college decision on Friday. He has four set finalists, with Michigan State the presumed leader three days out.

But just because the Irish are running second, that doesn't mean the staff is giving up just yet. Notre Dame has been in constant contact with Lyke and is trying to make one final push before Lyke and his family makes a decision. At least one person in Lyke's camp thinks the Irish have made up ground.

Notre Dame has handed out a number of offers the past week, and you can expect another one to go out sometime soon. Akron Hoban three-star wideout Jonah Morris said he's expecting to pick up an offer from the Irish on Tuesday.

Morris, who committed to Michigan State last week, is listed as a wideout, but is being recruited by most schools as a linebacker or safety. He said there's interest in Notre Dame, but just like with Austin Andrews, he's solid on his pledge to the Spartans.

Still, Morris said he's open to a summer visit if the offer comes, which is something that Andrews couldn't say.

Unless new names emerge at tight end over the next few weeks, expect it to be Cary Angeline or bust for Notre Dame when it comes to the position this cycle. The Irish have told the Downington East product that he's the "guy" and that they like him because of his obvious length at 6-7, 234 pounds.

But while Notre Dame is high on Angeline, one source said that there is some confusion as to why he hasn't made the obvious choose yet and picked Notre Dame.

The Irish are prepared to wait for Angeline, but we're told that assistant coach Scott Booker will also see Perry (Ohio) High four-star tight end Luke Farrell at some point this week. The staff remains split on Farrell when it comes to an offer at the moment, but that's an option, although it doesn't look likely as Farrell's coach stated that he doesn't believe Notre Dame would be a destination for his tight end.

Notre Dame coaches are out on the road recruiting again this week and while everyone has their assignments, the man that could see the most action is Autry Denson in South Florida.

Cardinal Gibbons three-star running back Deon McIntosh said Denson has told him that he will be at his spring game on Thursday. McIntosh remains a target for Denson, and is being recruited in the slot, but is still unsure if he will make it to campus.

Denson had also been linked to the Hallandale spring game on Wednesday, which would feature three-star wide receiver target Josh Hammond, but it's unclear if he will make that game. According to a source, the Irish don't feel good about where they stand with Hammond right now, which means resources could be used better elsewhere.
