The team with the most mistakes........

Hands to the face multiple times, face masks, off sides, INT, young QB mistakes like telegraphing passes, etc. Yet, somehow Georgia hung in there and got the job done. With all those mistakes you would have expected a different outcome.

ND was given every opportunity to win the game and somehow seized defeat from the jaws of victory.

GA had 120 penalty yards

That gives me a reason to be optimistic. If UGA, with a true freshman QB making his first start in an away game, a true freshman right tackle, a true freshman safety (Lecounte), giving up 127 yards on 11 (or was it 12?) penalties, a dropped long TD pass, two fumbles and an interception, can go to Notre Dame and eke out a win, bodes well for the rest of the season. The staff will work on eliminating those drive-killing penalties. QB Jake Fromm will improve in every game. We has a "cupcake" game (Samford) in which to get ready to begin the meat of the SEC schedule

Good luck on the season but unfortunately we are not a measuring stick of any kind. We are only solid in one of the 3 facets of the game. They will lose to Stanford, USC, and Miami. Best case scenario an 8 win team but sometimes Kelly loses to teams that we have no business losing to.

I'm not sure if we can call it progress that Kelly didn't lose the game because of a blunder in strategy like he has done multiple times. Electing to throw an end zone pass over a chip FG against Tulsa, the Little Giants play against MSU, the stupid decision to go for 2 against Northwestern, throwing into a hurricane against NC State, done of that idiocy occurred in this game.

My take
Wimbush is an average passer at best.I don't think he sees the field .Peripheral vision .Several times ,you could see Georgia defensive ends had an unimpeded path to Wimbush. We don't have great receivers (ex St.Brown ) . Receivers did drop some passes but also did have opportunities to make plays.A. Jones is a little bit of a disappointment so far .

Another thing ,do any of our backs block also some of the wide receivers .

Two takes from our running game .It wasn't working .The coaching staff wanted to shorten the game ,using a lot of clock . I mean the Georgia running game was getting 4,6 ,7 especially in the last quarter. Secondly the play calling just sucked in the second half . Same scenario , a passing team to a running game ,but same results

Defense is lot better than last year.

Forgot to include McGlinchey was beaten at least twice .Flat- Footed ? I don't his draft status improved
