competitor
noun com·pet·i·tor \kəm-ˈpe-tə-tər\
: someone who is trying to win or do better than all others especially in business or sports : someone who is competing
This isn't a bash Everett Golson or Brian Kelly post. Please go do that somewhere else.
What is your opinion, of a QB not wanting to compete against someone that was equally pushing him for competition--a teammate/fellow position player?
I think Golson is erring greatly by not wanting to be competitive and stay and compete for the job. I wanted him as #1, but I'm ready for Zaire to take this team beyond Golson, because one thing for sure, in life, Change is imminent!
If Zaire had played second string, I don't think he was going anywhere, because I think he likes competition. (He's seen what could happen when you leave early ala Kiel)
Surely Zaire is bringing it to the table, considering that a QB that took his team to a regular season 12-0 and then the natty game is taking his ball to another playground, you just have to wonder what is going on ion the Golson mindset.
Thoughts? (Please no bashing)
