Definitely by far....this team is the best since 1993. At least playing the best. We've had some damn good future NFL players on other teams like the 12 team and that D line... but playing as a collective team this is the best Notre Dame has played as a team since 1993. It's not even close.

Where or what is our ceiling? I'm very anxious even more than the playoff is to just see us on the national stage against an elite team and feel like we not only belong but the opposition should feel lucky to be keeping it close with us.

That dominant Notre Dame football feeling is way over due.

Looking forward to this and then keep it rolling. Plug and play for the next year. Two out of three years we should compete for the top crown every three year block.

I'd take that in a second and this year shows its certainly possible as I don't believe this is a lightning in a bottle team like 12. This team is playing like they're going to be bad ass for next year and year after and so on.

Winning is contagious.

Go Irish.

It appears that Coach Kelly learned Coach Parseghian's principle of pound your opponent until you break his will then dominate him until the game ends. I don't think these teams are ready for the relentless pounding that Notre Dame brings to the table each week. Thanks Coach Balis and staff for your hard work in getting the lads ready for this magical season and years to come.

A factor common to the 1993 team and this year's is an elite offensive line.

I've been arguing (respectfully, I hope) that Penn State's Barkley still has an edge on Josh Adams in the Heisman race. Part of that is this year's "run first, run second, and pass just enough to keep the opposing defense honest" approach has limited #33's receiving opportunities.

But if Adams wins the Heisman, I hope he shares it with his O-line.
