Even though it appears that the ACC caved in to ND those ACC haters will not love this. Locked in with the ACC until 2035 in all sports but FB and it appears if ND does ever decide to give up their FB independence status (next 20 years) they must join the ACC.

I'm not sure of the whole characterization. The ACC didn't "cave." The deal is no different. It just extended the term. From the opposite side, same issue. The terms of the deal are the same as before. It's just extended for a longer term. The situation for Notre Dame hasn't changed either way.

Oh man that is great. Football independence is grand. Wish we could lock into the ACC for only 4 games a year, but still!

Basketball really can't get any better then this!
