I did not think the article provided much of an explanation. It did provide a non-specific type of summary of the numbers, but little else other than on Golson. Few names, destinations, specifics on outcomes, and no evidence that the author checked with the previous transfers about any feelings now about their decisions to transfer.
Didn't really have to check with them. Hansen has been in S. Bend reporting on ND since the 90's. He has met and interviewed every guy on that list. I am sure there was some follow up done though.
