A & M offered Bo the then highest contract in college football AND offered to make him Athletic Director. Literally the keys to the kingdom.

And Bo told the press, ""Frankly, I've come to the conclusion that there are things more important in this world than money. For that reason, I've decided to stay at Michigan." Link

Kelly, on the other hand, invites LSU to send their fairy godmother over with a big bag of cash, jumps at the chance to leave, and tries to take the program with him.

Like Kelly, Bo didn't win a national championship and he wasn't good in bowl games.

But Michigan fans still love him. I get it now.

Michigan fans should love Kelly too. Thanks to two years of vacated wins, Michigan will be the undisputed all-time win leader for the foreseeable future.

I won't remember Kelly like Michigan fans remember Bo.

Kelly is a greedy POS. He is talking about an opportunity for him and his family. What opportunity? when you are making 6-7 mil a year.. He is not a guy sitting under a bridge and salvation brings him soup every day that he saw an opportunity and he took it.. Just a big bullshitr..

I never liked Bo when he was a coach because he never gave any credit to the other team if he lost and always nitpicked about his team's mistakes, even when they won big.

But when the basketball coach accepted a new job just before the NCAA tournament and he hired the assistant, saying something like "I want a Michigan man to coach this team," I had to respect that.

Years after his death, I saw a documentary on ND football in which they interviewed Bo, who poured high praise on Ara as a great coach.... then I started to like him a bit.

Well at least Kelly didn’t “execute” the players on his way out.
