Wait? Aren't you the same guy telling us that Temple looked weak in its bowl game, and that somehow that reflected poorly on ND? Talk out of both sides of your mouth much?
You're not giving me the warm fuzzies about Notre Dame fans, but I really don't know how to say this more clearly: I am not an OSU fan.
NIU lost their QB and their back up QB and their 3rd string QB. Few teams have that type of depth... especially not a MAC team. Also, OSU was playing the wrong QB for much of the year including the NIU game. Notre Dame is facing the good QB this time.

Obviously you are an OSU fan. When you look up obnoxious fan you see a pic of an OSU fan. Ou No the point is college football does not work with a corresponding coloration meaning if notre dame beats temple by 4 does not mean toledo would beat notre dame by 11. Nor does it mean that boise state would beat tosu by 41 pts. it all meaningless. However imho if Notre Dame was not devastated by injuries they would be in the playoffs and even with the injuries they had a great season.

No the transitive property does not work in college football; however, we're not talking about that. We're talking about the strength of schedule and whether Notre Dame is overrated. Temple, Navy, and USC should not be ranked teams based on what I've seen happen from conference championship games until now. As such, Notre Dame is 0-2 vs ranked team. Even the guy who writes articles for this site agrees with me writing an article about how Notre Dame is searching for a signature win. You beat the bottom of the ACC, a few AAC teams, a crappy Texas team, Umass, a 5 loss USC team, and lost to the good teams you played in Clemson and Stanford. You seriously sound like Tennessee fans: WE ALMOST BEAT ALABAMA AND OKLAHOMA!!! They didn't beat anyone either.

NIU played OSU a tight game (20-13 if I remember correctly) just got curb-stomped by Boise State. Is anyone talking about THAT game? OSU does not have a better resume than ND. Compare ND's wins against OSU's wins and I will like ND's chances all day long.

It's tough for me to tell because I don't watch a lot of football outside of the Midwest and bowl games. I really have no idea where I would put Ole Miss and North Carolina FSU and TCU. Being a big ten fan, I think Northwestern and Michigan are under rated. You'll see them whip the SEC on Jan 1. I hate the SEC
