Temple is looking bad.

Or the notre dame team that has its 3rd string QB Kiser (golson zaire) or Starting RB Folston out, starting TE out, or starting DL out, etc etc etc. but excuses only work for your team not the Irish . I am tired of arrogant OSU fans[/QUOTE]

In my estimation, they are the worst fanbase in all of CFB.

And NIU played OSU with their starting QB. Notre Dame will be playing OSU without Golson Zaire Folston... So the argument that the NIU got close to OSU but got destroyed by Boise is meaningless because different players were on the field.

Wait? Aren't you the same guy telling us that Temple looked weak in its bowl game, and that somehow that reflected poorly on ND? Talk out of both sides of your mouth much?

You're not giving me the warm fuzzies about Notre Dame fans, but I really don't know how to say this more clearly: I am not an OSU fan.

NIU lost their QB and their back up QB and their 3rd string QB. Few teams have that type of depth... especially not a MAC team. Also, OSU was playing the wrong QB for much of the year including the NIU game. Notre Dame is facing the good QB this time.

Feel free to leave if you don't like the discussion here. As far as I am concerned, you are talking out of both sides of your mouth.

After the game, I'll use the OSU beat you argument. Until then, I'm hear to educate not to learn. I learn by watching the games. Notre Dame fans typically think the world of college football revolves around South Bend, so they don't watch other games (see the poster that called the Big Ten a dead conference despite having 3 top 10 teams, the reigning National Champion, and more ranked teams than any other conference).

You're welcome

Obviously you are an OSU fan. When you look up obnoxious fan you see a pic of an OSU fan. Ou No the point is college football does not work with a corresponding coloration meaning if notre dame beats temple by 4 does not mean toledo would beat notre dame by 11. Nor does it mean that boise state would beat tosu by 41 pts. it all meaningless. However imho if Notre Dame was not devastated by injuries they would be in the playoffs and even with the injuries they had a great season.

After listening to tOSU fans my whole life and their obnoxiousness it would be great if the Irish won. by the way when I talk to tosu fans they are all about saying 40 or 50 its to the irish 14-or 17 points. what arrogance. they bring up the last fiesta bowl or post Lou H teams that you beat. And they live like that is what will happen again and gloat gloat , Who cares, different team different year different coach and players. As far as Irish fans why would they care about other teams

Of course NONE of us watch any other games, and you know that how? As for educating us, we didn't ask for your "expertise" which is weak at best. You make excuses for OSU yet you argue against people here using the injuries with ND having somewhat of an impact on the season.

As for OSU playing against NIU's #1 QB, they're still a MAC team and you barely beat them.

If ND wins you will not be here after the game because that's what trolls do. They go back to being under the rock from which they crawled out.

Since you obviously would rather attack me, than do anything else to support your team, I"m going to ignore you.
LMAO, you have to create new logins to troll obscure internet boards, then you threaten you're going to ignore people? Ya right, the entire point of being a troll is to get attention you dope. Opps, put me on your ignore list now lol!

Most of Ohio State's starters will be playing the Carolina Panthers next year.

So the argument that the NIU got close to OSU but got destroyed by Boise is meaningless because different players were on the field. The fact that Notre Dame's schedule wasn't strong is clear because there were no glaring changes in USC, Temple, or Navy between the time you played them and now.

Even on Christmas Eve this jackass feels the need to come here and spew his anti-ND crap. What a person of very low quality.

I'm not an OSU fan. I went to a different big ten school and watch a lot of Big Ten football.
No the transitive property does not work in college football; however, we're not talking about that. We're talking about the strength of schedule and whether Notre Dame is overrated. Temple, Navy, and USC should not be ranked teams based on what I've seen happen from conference championship games until now. As such, Notre Dame is 0-2 vs ranked team. Even the guy who writes articles for this site agrees with me writing an article about how Notre Dame is searching for a signature win. You beat the bottom of the ACC, a few AAC teams, a crappy Texas team, Umass, a 5 loss USC team, and lost to the good teams you played in Clemson and Stanford. You seriously sound like Tennessee fans: WE ALMOST BEAT ALABAMA AND OKLAHOMA!!! They didn't beat anyone either.

99% of all B10 posters make the 1% look bad. Don't be that 99%. If your not a OSU poster why did you create this handle what is your other handle-z. As I said Notre Dame is a good team and can win this game against the Suckeyes. I will be @ the game with my son and looking forward to this game

Hey, guess what. No one cares how you would rank the teams. There are any number of organizations which ranked teams. All of their rankings merit more respect than yours.

Well, if you didn't go to OSU nor are you a fan, then exactly why are you so obsessed with Notre Dame and how much the Irish are overrated? Is your own team that weak that you have to live vicariously through the Bucks? Don't have anything better to do with your time?

NIU played OSU a tight game (20-13 if I remember correctly) just got curb-stomped by Boise State. Is anyone talking about THAT game? OSU does not have a better resume than ND. Compare ND's wins against OSU's wins and I will like ND's chances all day long.

That won't work with this guy, IG. He'll tell you how NIU played their 4th string QB in the game last night. For some odd reason he can't explain how Boise scored 55 against NIU when Ohio State only scored 20.

He has an excuse of NIU having injury issues, but according to him we cannot use the injury excuse for ND. He wants everything his way (much like that of a spoiled child).

h'ville, I hear what you are saying - everyone has excuses. I credit ND for not making excuses and were still in the hunt until the end. That will bode well going forward and the troll will wring his hands wondering what he can say to put ND down next year.

My guess is that we are dealing with the Northwestern fan who was recently banned for this type of nonsense.

Yep, I was thinking the same thing. What a loser---nothing better to do on Christmas Eve than to troll an ND board from which he was previously banned.

One different player. So, if ND should beat OSU, you have already created your excuse - Washington wasn't on the field, so it was a different team.
And yet you continue to smack on an ND schedule that had a higher SOS than most if not all of the little 10. Poor form little skunk, or nut in denial, which ever you are.

This guy cares:
So Bone head where would you rank ND?
It's tough for me to tell because I don't watch a lot of football outside of the Midwest and bowl games. I really have no idea where I would put Ole Miss and North Carolina FSU and TCU. Being a big ten fan, I think Northwestern and Michigan are under rated. You'll see them whip the SEC on Jan 1. I hate the SEC

Still spewing anti-ND vitriol even on Christmas Day. What a low quality excuse for a human being.

There are those that are so insecure (or have no life) that they feel the need to go anywhere they can to downgrade someone else to feel better about themselves. This guy is a classic example.

It will take years of therapy and a team of psychotherapists to fix our poor friend from NW.
