Syracuse has benefited from a weak schedule, and the game at Clemson - Clemson was trying to give the game away and Syracuse refused to take it. Clemson puts in a true freshman qb and comes back to win the game.

Syracuse was strangely inept. That they had a couple fairly quality W’s!, is the mystery. ND’s clearly superior play at QB set the tone for the game. I think that deflated the Orangemen from the start! They knew early on they were a beaten foe. It was, an early capitulation.
