Just read where Grant Blankenship was suspended for violation of team rules?

Also said not sure is he will be back with the program.

opin on TOS: 'he gone'
and, a long time coming; and based on the posters, apparently for everyones best interests.

post on TOS: sorty but this is damn funny! and true!

"With just a little more attrition, Kelly can get this number down to 75 and then offer 10 scholarships to walk ons. This is a great recruiting tool for quality walk-ons who will realize their chances of becoming a scholarship player is exponentially better at ND than say, Ohio State, for example."

Obviously another alias for Gruff, the board's mental patient. Yet another addition to the ever-growing ignore list.

Yet, when you look on the home page -- it states -- Blankenship Suspended!

NO -- not another alias for Gruff -- but, feel free to ignore me!

And, since you may also NOT be able to pay attention to the home page, I have attached the link for you!

My message was directed to pikehead, not to you. You probably already have him on ignore since you didn't see his post. I think you're one of the better posters on the board.

Really a non-issue with the exception of the fact that it may hurt the depth of the scout team. Grant has had multiple issues during his time in South Bend and at this point it might just be better to bank another scholarship for the 2017 class.

At this point, the 3-deep at both DE spots have been set, as long as Daelin Hayes is ready to play in September as expected.

SDE: Isaac Rochell
2. Jonathan Bonner
3. Khalid Kareem

WDE: Andrew Trumbetti
2. Jay Hayes
3. Daelin Hayes

Note: In actuality, Hayes may be the #3 SDE over Kareem in an injury type situation, but that will depend on the type of summer Kareem has in continuing to adjust to the weight he's added this off season.

It will also be interesting to see what kind of sIze Julian Okawar shows up at. He may also be able to find some work in the DE rotation as a pass rushing freshman, but much of that with depend on the health and progression of Daelin Hayes.

ND should be fine at DE, however, it's important that the Irish land 3 more in this cycle. An impact guy at both spots and a developmental guy would be ideal.

IIO, have you read or heard how Bonner is doing this Spring? There was the one article talking defensive line, and Bonner received some praise. Posted last year that I expected Bonner to be the dark horse breakout player this past season, and could not have been more wrong. Thought he would be a very quick strong athletic SDE for us.

You have been on the ignore list for a long time. all i said quit posting BS....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

It's grand theater when posters announce their ignore intentions. The proclamations make Brave Sir Robin look like Patton.

Classis -- sorry about that -- you are right -- I do have that one on ignore and did not see it. My apologies!! Plus, was having a bad day the other day -- should not have vented out like that against you!

The "ignore" feature is a safe zone for those who take this board and all it's content way too serious. There are no experts here, only those who read a lot of info from other sources then pass it along . The "ignore" feature is also a safe place for those who don't like opposing views. I find that those who go out of their way complaining about trolls are the very ones who live and die to start the troll conversation in the first place. Each of you have a role to play and you are all doing it beautifully.

The ignore feature is also a mechanism that some of us employ so as to not have to read the constant idiocy spewed by some other posters. While I refer primarily to argus man and his cornucopia of aliases, I do not limit it to him. Or perhaps, more succinctly put, if you don't want to use the ignore feature---don't. I will use it as I deem appropriate.

Well, I disagree. I use the ignore so I do not have to bother scrolling through posts in which I have no interest. It can be pretty easy to identify posters that rarely post any worthy commentary. I just do not want the bother, however much you wish to speculate on the motives of others.

The ignore feature allows me the opportunity to not have to read the idiotic rants of people who like to take over a thread. There about a dozen or so that I could name.

the ignore feature is for placing those posters that cannot communicate w/o proper respect.
It is that simple.

I have an extensive 'iggy list' and not one poster there is a poster that shows even a remote sense of posting decorum nor respect. Most if not all are vulgar and foul. No one needs to give them "place" ; they are cornfield fodder!

Sir, from what I have observed, there are a couple or so of what can be considered board regulars who can and will post with aggressive and disrespectful decorum as you say. There have been some who have called for you to be exiled I am sure. Does that mean you do not communicate with proper respect? I am just a passive observer who see what those fully invested cannot or will not. Enforcing rules that apply to some but not others is pretty much the standard. But, it's your pond.

Sure, posters with special agenda and posters who are 'keyboard bullies' and object to recieving appropriate and like response to their manners will cerrainly object to me.

Toby: your gone.

There is no point.
