Super Bowl

Random thoughts...
- Defense wins championships, at any level. Eagles rushed 4 and still got to Mahomes, that left 7 guys in coverage to cover 4 or 5 receivers.
- Didn't watch 1 second of Halftime. Prince was one of the better performers back in 2007.
- Drue Tranquill played a heck of a game, leading tackler for the Chiefs.
- The door is wide open for the Bills, Ravens, etc. to step thru and beat the Chiefs next year. The Eagles gave everyone a blueprint on how to beat them.
- No more football til this spring
- A good / great OL is really important

---No more football games that people emotionally care about until late August.
---Watched every second of halftime.
---Blueprints are wonderful, until you get punched in the mouth, like the Buffalo Bills got punched in Arrowhead.
---QB's matter a lot, and the QB in Football is arguably the most important position in any sport.

The halftime show was quite underwhelming. Gotta say that no way is Tom Brady ready as a broadcaster yet to be assigned to the Super Bowl. Poor Kevin Burkhardt had to try and carry him the whole time. Brutal. Greg Olson is so much better.
Brady has turned into a freak show... the Botox, veneers and gaudy watch.

The birds game plan was perfection. When you can rush four and get that kind of pressure, it makes it very easy for the secondary, especially a secondary as good as philly has.

KC's gameplan on defense was terrible. They focused so much attention on Barkley, rightfully so, but they sold their souls to stopping him, which they did a good job of, but geezus that left the barn door wide open in the secondary and the QB's runs right up the gut extended a lot of drives.

I changed the channel at halftime. I don't need to watch more political, social justice nonesense during a football game.

The Chiefs definitely got humbled in this game but they aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

Olsen got screwed so they could put Brady in front of the soccer mom crowd and sjb

KC was on the edge in a lot of games this year; Mahomes did not have a great year. It all came apart.
Eagles played VERY well and had the right plan. KC sold out on D stopping Barkley but Hurts gashed them and beat them in the air.
This game was a lot like the one where Tampa Bay humiliated KC some years ago. DL got all over Mahomes and did not let them do anything until the game was over.
Defenses win Championships
by the way the Eagles ran the ball 45 times and only passed 23. THAT is how you win the big ones.

Same shit. Different day.

KC needed this; they got fat and happy and began to believe their own press and podcasts.

Andy Reid is a great coach. He will fix the O line and work on everything else. Do not write KC off.

Funny how being down 40-6 with 3 mins left “isn’t being humbled” but being down 31-23 with 3 mins left is…
Win 3 national titles in 6 years and it changes the perception quite a bit. e.g. way less frustration from fans when you are getting smoked in a post season game this time.

More of a "we'll get them next time" vibe rather than a "a F*** this program can't buy a clue"

If KC is fat and happy and believing their own press and podcasts, what are Buffalo and Baltimore?

Mahomes needs to take his fitness more serious if he wants to stay on the top of his game. He looks like the Pillsbury Doe Boy.

lol, you edited 3x, keep trying harder.

KC was humbled.

* One first down and 23 yards in first half.

* 24-0 at half.

* Mahomes sacked 6 times with no blitzing, Kelce with only 3 catches.

* a pick 6, another interception, and a fumble lost for KC. Only 11 rushing attempts

That is being humbled.

Oh no, they have lots returning. They need OL, WR, and maybe some secondary depth.
