Notre Dame has added another top offensive lineman. Wexford (Pa.) North Allegheny four-star offensive tackle Joshua Lugg gave a verbal commitment to play for the Irish on Friday.
"Coach Hiestand was ecstatic," Lugg said. "After my second visit to Notre Dame, I thought long and hard about it with my family and the coaching staff, and we decided that it's best for me to commit now and not wait. Notre Dame is outstanding and happy with everything about it.
"It's the best decision I have ever made in my life."
Lugg is ranked by Rivals.com as the No. 196 overall prospect in the country for the next cycle.
