Stanley is killing us.

Lots of offensive mistakes.....O has to pick it up with Kizer...... they r not helping him..... except Will....

he has moved a couple times but not like he fumbled or threw a poor toss in the end zone. CB has been dropping passes all season.

Wonder if Stanley is having problems adjusting to Kizer's cadence, He is always moving very close to the snap in previous games.

stanley should have been benched for a series

I disagree. it's clearly a cadence issue.

I'm chuckling because I know you are an old offensive lineman. But you can't have a guy who is supposed to be the anchor of your offensive line screw up like that....three times. Everyone needs to be accountable. I think if Kelly had benched Golson for a series or two last year, he may have learned to take better care of the ball. By the way I thought the holding penalty on Stanley was pretty pathetic.

actually on two of them I believe they could have easily called nelson too as it looked like he was early also. it's not all that unusual with a new qb but it absolutely has to get cleaned up.

Kelly confirmed it during his presser. It was about the cadence.

You don't take out your best offensive lineman in that situation.

I will give you that Kelly should have benched Golson last year multiple times but not Stanley yesterday. Did you just call Echo old?:D

Yeah. I did and he's probably 20 years younger than me. And yeah, I realize in tight game it is downright risky to pull your best offensive lineman. But what happens if he loses his helmet or gets a minor injury that requires a timeout?

Don't even talk about any injury to him... or anyone else.

Stanley is a great offensive lineman. His missteps are in part due to a cadence of a new QB and in part due to his excitement and desire to excel. The good news is ND is 3-0 and probably ranked about #5.

He will be a stalwart throughout the season, Go Irish!
