Hurts your SOS but makes it less likely a Pac-12 team will be in the playoffs. Game far from over but not in good shape.
I think you are right a loss is much better.I'll take the SOS hit to remove another one loss team. Heck USC may win out and take Stanford's place as a signature win
Wishful thinking?Hurts your SOS but makes it less likely a Pac-12 team will be in the playoffs. Game far from over but not in good shape.
Don't think so poet. I guess Utah could win out and be a one loss team and maybe get in, but it sure makes it less likely.Wishful thinking?

Do you mean Utah. This is Stanford's second loss. How does this remove a one loss team? ND beating them would have eliminated them.

I know. The guy I quoted was glad to remove Stanford from the pool of one loss teams. That does nothing for ND.
Then it should be no problem for the irish then huh?9 trips into the Red Zone against the 119th ranked defense and you supposedly have the premier Power Running game in the country. And you get beat at home by an unranked team?
ND brings their A game they are way better than that team.
He is truly the jekle and hide QBHow does this remove a one loss team? ND beating them would have eliminated them.
I didn't say it wouldn't be a problem. So don't be intellectually lazy and dishonest. I said ND brings their A game they are better than Stanford.[/QUOT
So you were being intellectually lazy AND dishonest before?
I also said Stanford was in the Red Zone 9 times and only scored 36 points against the 119 th ranked scoring defense in the country.
Are you a Stanford fan? You seem a little upset with the loss?
Stanford is in good company with whom? And stating statistical facts is not "blasting" anyone

What does ND Red Zone performance have to do with Stanford losing to Oregon tonight?
And ND has scored 6 TD'S in their last 6 trips into the Red Zone.
Oh yes, it does a lot for Notre Dame. Stanford's loss increases the odds that the Pac 12 champ won't be in the playoffs, thus freeing a spot for Notre Dame.
Intellectual dishonesty is you changing the subject from Stanford to ND. So tell me if Stanford is such a superior Red Zone team "statistically" Why were they 4 for 9 against a really poor Oregon defense? And fail to reach the End Zone against NW?

You're a,really dishonest person and a poor debater. This thread was about "Stanford losing tonight and I pointed out they lost tonight because they were terrible in the Red Zone against a poor defense and they have a relatively unathletic defense that struggles to make plays in space.
Apparently that hurt your feelings, snd you felt the need to interject ND into the conversation as a way to rationilize and justify Stanfords terrible loss.
Truthfully I would expect this type of push back of my posts on a Stanford board, but this is a ND board and you are obviously deeply upset about Stanford losing to an unranked team at home and being knocked out of playoff contention.
Any Given Saturday right?
