Who's going to the stadium open house and scrimmage this Sunday? The band will be there. The Jumbo will be up and running. Fans can tour the facilities. Early forecast calls for partly sunny and 81. Of course by Friday, it could be snow and 25.

Well, it looks like we are going to be the only two fans there. Bookstore all to ourselves. Sit where you want in the stadium. No lines at the concession stand. Almost like going to a Purdue game.

I want to drive to South Bend and see everything if I can get a couple of guys from work to ride with me for the two or so hour drive. if not then i'll probably stay home. i wouldn't mind meeting some of you if i go

Navy blue polo shirts, new hats and from what I understand usher rain/winter jackets. Also the sections have been changed. Instead of the steps dividing the section in two, the new sections will run between the steps.

Aren't they going to have a live game with halftime Sunday afternoon in the stadium? This defense has bigger, stronger, faster players, playing with better technique; freed up to play fast and aggressive; and a solid mixture of young players, emerging players who are finally getting it, and solid veterans who were humiliated last year. How can anybody ever suggest that this defense won't perform better than the last three year?

So what do I expect to see this year?
1. Improving defense throughout the year.
2.A smooth running offense that scores a lot of points.
3. Strong Special Teams that regularly flips the field and scores some points.
4. Decrease in the number of season and career ending injuries.
5. Well conditioned athletes from game one through the last game in November / December / January.

Not a live game but rather a scrimmage. The Jumbo will be running and the band will be there. There will be an open house to fans so they can see the new additions. I'm going to try and sit by a pretty, age appropriate gal, just in case they have a Kiss cam.

the guy running the video board said that he didn't like doing kiss cam when he worked the boards for professional teams and that he also wouldn't do it for the new irish board

I'm going to be looking around Sunday wondering which usher is that Michigan fan.

Go Irish!

God bless Trump!

God bless America!

Gates open at 2PM South Bend time. Scrimmage starts around 3:30PM and will last about 2 hours or so.
