They say sports teams that are great up the middle ie....catcher,pitcher,shortstop,second base and center field are building blocks for a great baseball team.The same for basketball with a center and guards same with hockey blah blah blah so I think N.D. Can be great this year.If you look at us this year on offense we have well above average running backs in my opinion Everett will be great this year and Martin's move back to center will help us out greatly now that he's healthy.On defense we have Day in my estimation will be superb this year,with Schmidt coming back makes us good to great up the middle and the final link to our success is safety.With the players to choose from at safety I think this could put us over the top.No doubt injuries will be a huge factor in this years team.If healthy I can see us in a big bowl if not the N.C. Bowl.Thought,thank you and Go Irish!!!!!!
