Notre Dame has two weapons that make defensive coordinators cringe - Prosise and Fuller. Both of these guys have game breaking, "elite" speed. Fuller has a remarkable ability to get open and great hands to go along with his speed. Prosise has both speed and power. He wasn't a glamour recruit out of HS, I don't think, but he may be the best RB at ND in a long time.

Prediction moving forward -- Kelly will incorporate Hunter and Alize Jones into the scheme more moving forward making this team very very difficult to defend .
I'm surprised they haven't been used more already - especially Hunter ........... the Admiral's son was a liability on that first onside kick.

So far we have had the luxury of not needing these guys , given that they are both basically in their first year of competition at this level Kelly I believe is letting them get a comfort level with being on the field before he starts counting on them more . I see Hunter getting 4-6 touches moving forward ( sweeps - passes ) and Jones imo has to start getting involved for us to beat Clemson , USC , Stanford .

Jones has a chance to be a total back breaker for opponents , I think his services will be needed to win our toughest games

I also would like to see the ball in Hunter's hands six to eight times a game. I think he can run the jet sweep as well as anyone on the team outside of Prosise. Give Hunter the ball on four or five jet sweeps and mix in Adams for five carries a game. That will reduce some of the beating Prosise is bound to take as the star RB.

Disagree. He was going for the ball and got blocked off the ball by an unblocked GT player. Compare to second onside kick when Scmidt and Luatua blocked leaving Hunter an easier opportunity to cover the ball. There was no similar blocking, or missed, on the first onside kick so Robinson was left open to a hit.

This is speed we haven't had in a long time. It's nice to see the players on our side of the ball, for a change. Have gotten use to expecting 2-3 yards per carry or 6-7 per pass. Now it's more like 6-8 yards per run and 10-12 per pass. Hopefully recruiting keeps up, as well as development.

Jones doesn't seem to be ready for this stage yet. Neither does our kicker

the "kicker" is 10/11 on XPs and 4/6 on FGs. Not sure missing 3 outta 17 kicks qualifies as "not ready for this stage", just that he's gonna have ups and downs as a frosh.

And the speed this ND team has is what differentiates it from any in many years. It wasnt until the LSU game last year when I saw CJP out running their D that i realized he could be special. Him, Fuller, St Brown, Sanders, Jaylon, all have elite speed. I just hope Alize can put it together somewhat this year cause he has the chance to be special someday as well.
