Before this week I had never heard of this message board that everyone keeps linking.
Why do we care what Clemson fans say on their own team board? We have already proven they lie on it.
Echoing others this dude isn't a regular on our board. He is also wrong about the recruiting #'s. Since 2010 ND had recruited better overall but Clemson had 2 years they were better then ND and another 2 where the classes were pretty even.
Second sentence and already an error. You dont have to go past the past 6 years to know this is wrong. Clemson was ranked higher 3 of the past 6 years and the average ranking over that span is ND(11.5) and Clemson(12). The rest of your post is your opinion and you are welcome to it. 1. TigerNet is a free board that's full of "Wal-Mart fans" and Gamecock imposters trying to troll Clemson fans and give bulletin board material to Clemson's opponents.
2. We actually had a thread on Tiger Illustrated tonight where I said pretty much the same thing. Notre Dame has a tremendous national brand and gets everyone's best shot. You guys also are an independent, so you're used to traveling all over the country and playing in loud/hostile venues. I don't put a whole lot of stock into home field advantage in this game.
That said, I do think there is an opportunity for your new QB to make a few bad decisions. Ultimately, I see this game being decided by who can win the battle in the trenches and make fewer mistakes (cliche, I know)...but I see this as two very even, well coached teams going at it...and it's going to be a war.

Well 247 does a composite of 3 services(rivals, scout, espn) and the results were almost the same. 2 out of 6 years Clemson was higher and two other years the teams were basically tied. I am willing to bet the average would come out close as well.

Right or wrong, I find the southern fans to be pretty decent when they visit this board. Maybe not a hand-full of FSU fans last year, but I really don't consider Florida to be part of the south for that kind of stuff anyway.

IrishPawg posted over on SCar's rivals page before he did over here. He claimed to be an Irish fan bashing Clemson folks. South Carolina fans are the saddest bunch of people you'll ever encounter. Their season is over and have nothing else to do.

I can't say I agree with him, but I can see where it comes from. Thursday night (Clemson historically bad at), opportunity to overlook a wounded animal, an away game against a talented Louisville. It had the feel of a bad trap game.
However I'm nervous about this game, just as I'm sure most rational ND fans are.

My business partner is a Wofford grad but a lifelong Clemson fan, so it was to be a surprise to take him with me.

We are staying in Greenville, and are already committed to hooking up with some other people I know who live in Greenville (Vol fans I met at the 1999 game in Knoxville). I will get back to you.
