Again, I can dvr a game and see a ton of signs being sent in during the game. Hell, there are pictures of several coaches right now with their play charts and everything on them.

Of all the things to get worked up about, this isn’t it IMO. I played college baseball, we changed signs all the time, it’s not complicated. You just change the indicator, and you’re golden. In HS FB we would reverse signs or flip signs meanings. I imagine CFB/NFL are even more advanced.

If true, the Wolverines would have violated NCAA Bylaw 11.6.1, which states: "Off-campus, in-person scouting of future opponents (in the same season) is prohibited."

I think the only logical thing to do with this report is for the NCAA to vacate all Michigan wins this year. Announce ND the winner of the Ohio St game because we know this wasnt the only scandal for the conference. It also involves the B1G refs blatantly cheating for OSU vs ND. The B1G conf needs to be banned from the post season for atleast 3 seasons by the NCAA. If we cant have integrity in CFB then what are we doing. 😉

Truly, no one cares. I’ve listened to sports radio all day at work today and not a single pundit, analyst, or former player give a damn, none. Even Finebaum the notorious JH detractor thinks this is stupid.

If you think sign stealing prevents UM from pounding every crap program they’ve played you are delusional.

Brock Huard discussed how hard it is to make use of stolen signs from his time in the NFL. He said you might get a few a game because by the time an assistant recognizes a sign you might have 20 seconds to relay that information down to your defensive play caller.

Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel announced Michigan football off-field analyst Connor Stalions was suspended, with pay, pending the NCAA investigation into allegations the Wolverines were scouting opponents in person, a violation of NCAA rules.

Stalions is reportedly one of the top people of interest in the NCAA investigation. He was hired by Michigan in May 2022 as an off-field analyst, according to his now-deleted LinkedIn. Investigators sought access to his computer for evidence of sign-stealing, according to ESPN.
