Something to understand about all these tweets and "reports" about Notre Dame "blocking" schools.
First, even if a kid graduates with a 4.0 GPA, every coach in America would try to block him, and should be able to block him from going to an opponent that next season. Any coach that says otherwise is not being honest abouti because they arent facing a similar situation.
Second, just because a school is blocked doesnt mean the kid is blocked from thay school. Are you tracking with me? This is how the process works. A kid gives a list of schools he wants. If the kid is good there will be dozens and dozens of schools that want him. But if he isnt interested the program wont release him to those schools. Take Everett Golson for example. Lets say Minnesota and Iowa State call. He's not interested so in this hypothetical, Notre Dame would say they are blocked.
Make sense?
