He was outstanding for both teams! They make TB the player of the game.
He looks for a NIL/Bag deal and takes it.They make TB the player of the game.
He might be worried about regression under TR s tutelage! He has to see that he is light years ahead of anyone we have on campus right now.
Nope.
If you keep saying it in every forum post, it's still stupid. He was outstanding for both teams!
It's more of a competition than most on this board want to admit for sureNope.
But I can now see Buchner being the guy
3 warm up games before OSU, I play whoever you think has more potential to win by game 4
10 months of practice and 3 more games.....maybe Buchner
only thing unequivocally stupid is you! Moron! If you keep saying it in every forum post, it's still stupid.
He comes to ND and starts..They make TB the player of the game.
Na he comes to ND and competes. He comes to ND and starts..
no more 2-3 picks a game and spotting other team 14-21 points
nice showingNa he comes to ND and competes.
QB room suddenly goes from zero to hero after Buchners nice showing tonight.
You got a solid top 150 prospect coming in who is really polished, you got a potential Ian Book-like tweener in Hartman who is battle tested and experienced but maybe lacks upside, and then you got Buchner, a gifted high 4-star prospect who is getting better and better it seems.
Will be interesting to follow the QB battle all off-season. We're going to need multiple QBs if Buchner wins the job.
Hartman is a solid player in a solid system responsible for putting up big numbers, etc. and he'll be a nice addition to fall camp for sure. But Tyler Buchner has a whole other level of upside to his game if everything clicks. He played in the ACC; not a mid major. He would be a huge upgrade and would make us preseason top 10.
For what team? They make TB the player of the game.
Coming from the ignorant elitist this is funnyIf you keep saying it in every forum post, it's still stupid.
Hes going to come. But hes not going to have an easy time winning the jobHartman needs to pull the trigger. The longer this drags in the less confident I’m getting.
The offense was much more dynamic with Buchner than Pyne. So imagine if a way more polished passer is pulling the trigger. I’m not a big Buchner fan. If NDwsnts to go 9-3 he’s the guy. But he is not a playoff caliber guy. Hartman has a higher floor.what was evident was is that there is a a genuine relation between TB and MF. But that won’t keep TB from injury!
Agreed. But Buchner has the higher ceilingThe offense was much more dynamic with Buchner than Pyne. So imagine if a way more polished passer is pulling the trigger. I’m not a big Buchner fan. If NDwsnts to go 9-3 he’s the guy. But he is not a playoff caliber guy. Hartman has a higher floor.
Either guy should get ND to 3-0 going into the 9/23 matchup with OSU. Buchner if and it’s a big if can become a more disciplined passer and mitigate interceptions, he definitely has a higher ceiling IMO. You can see his potential and the potential for the O if he’s playing well the run game and passing game will be very hard to stop due to his abilities in both facets (if improved passing).Agreed. But Buchner has the higher ceiling
Do you want to play it safe or possibly go for it

The majority of the top teams seem to have a guy that can hurt you with their feet as well as their arm.

like the Williams kid, but maybe a less accurate and less arm strength; but he has that dimension. And he looks like a freakin choir boy!Either guy should get ND to 3-0 going into the 9/23 matchup with OSU. He needs a scar; and maybe a broken nose set poorly.like the Williams kid, but maybe a less accurate and less arm strength; but he has that dimension. And he looks like a freakin choir boy!
that’s the ND fan we know^ and no one loves! He needs a scar; and maybe a broken nose set poorly.
The soft onesIF EVERYTHING CLICKS WHICH IT NEVER HAS BEFORE
The delusion of some here about TB is awesome
The worst thing to happen to him would be to start- the fan base would tear him apart after enough Pick 6's
WHICH HE CLEARLY would have a lot of
