I get it, this is a violent collision sport & injuries happen...and when they do, the next guy has to be ready to help the team. But damn...it's frustrating. I can't imagine how the injured players or their teammates feel. I feel bad for these guys.

That being said, great win by those Next Men and their comrades today.

Semi-related topic, I don't have any issue with the play call to have MZ run. It's a risk. But he's a big boy, he's been running a long time, and if his running threat/option wasn't real, I think CJ's numbers wouldn't have looked as good. JMO.

I feel worse as a fan than I ever did as a player. When teammates got hurt it really never bothered me I just focused on doing my job. ND needs to do the same. Coaches need way better game plans too.

BEAT that wreck of a teck!!!

At this point, we might need next man in at two WR's spots and 2 OL spots. Why move Brent to RB if he's not going to be used? Didn't he score in the Spring Game?

d training.

Longo longo longo.... We set up statues for him on arrival and heaped praise upon him.
Obviously we expected "magical results"

Are ND's players demonstrating some advanced physical prowess over opponents?
Are they more durable?
Are they bigger, faster, stronger?

Longo has nothing to do with Zaire's ankle getting rolled up like no other. You can do all the ankle lifts you wants with ankle yoga and everyones ankle would be trashed..

How does a strength and condition coach prevent an ankle from getting rolled up on in a pile? I guess Urban Meyers Strength and Conditioning coach at OSU sucks too because they lost 2 QB last year.

Or maybe a Twinkle like you should train the team? You can show them how you lift 5 lb dumb bells to your Richard Simmons tapes and entertain them with stories of how you never played the game.

no He is not accountable for MZ; that is a freak accident. I was just speaking on something that has been a thought for a time now. Many of the prior 'loyalists' have been removed or moved on and the result is an ever improving staff.
