There's only around 11k season ticket seats. Per ticket of those season tickets average between $600- $1000 because of "building fund". Speaking with many of these season ticket owners, they try and sell biggest game to help offset rediculous charges. Most would not sell if ticket prices weren't so outrageous. The better question is how are all of these ticket agencies buying up all the tickets? Between Alumni lottery, students, employees, corporate tickets, and opposing alloted tickets (8k) the stadium used to be mostly all Irish. My suspicion is that the lack of demand because of poor product, rediculous season ticket and general admission prices has caused ND to sell to these brokers which in turn sell for big $ to well traveled schools. So even if all of the season ticket owners sold their tickets, you're only talking about 11k. Again what is happening to the other 40k not accounted for? More people would buy season tickets and actually go to the games if prices weren't so high. My opinion of course.
